A Friday afternoon

Sorry I took so long to post this...
So last week was great! The French teacher wasn't there at all last week and I got to finish school early. Wednesday after school (12:55pm) I went to she the movie "This means war" with a friend, we originally wanted to see "One for the money" but had a problem with the ticket seller! It's such a good movie.
 Then since I finished school at 1:40pm on Friday I decided to take a trip to Brussels to visit a store that I wanted to go to. So I went and found out I never want to go all alone to the train station of Brussels-Midi again. It is probably the biggest train station in Brussels to get to London and Paris as well as all the other places in Belgium and it was packed and huge. Also there probably was all of robbers and crazy people there too. I then had to walk using a map to find the store "Syriana" in a bad area of town that was a little run down and I passed a guy with a suitcase that he was drunkenlly rolling down the sidewalk that tried to talk to me, but when I passed him he luckily kept on rolling. I found the store before 4pm looked and bought a navy blue "Tommy Hilfiger" canvas bag that was brand new looking at a second hand store for only 12,50 euros!! It is great for taking to school.
On Saturday we when to Eric's parents house for lunch after the kids and I stayed there while Eric, Veronique and Isabelle went shopping for baby stuff at IKEA.( Isabelle is going to have a child in June)

Well

 theses are some photos from awhile ago. The cake picture is from last weekend celebrating 6 months in Belgium!! And the mitts picture is of the Canadian mitts we gave them for Christmas. They took a picture of themselves in France in the mountains.

Well these weekend I went to scouts. We took a train to Ciney and spent the day there. Almost just 3 weeks till Spring break (which I get a little bit over 2 Weeks off!!) and Veronique, Eric, Adrien and Victoria go to the USA!

YFU: Paris



So we left Belgium after 9am and drove to Paris on a privite bus. It was about 3 hours long of a drive. We first visited the Louvre.

Abercrombie & Fitch in Paris is so big and fancy(not to mention expensive). There was a long line to enter and there was hugh black gates which you had to walk through and down a long path with fancy bushes to enter. 4 floors of black shiny floors with loud music playing, the scent of A & F and people hired to dance in A & F clothes in place! It is so different, and the clothes come in so bright colours.

 I had so much fun with all the YFU members and will always remember the crazy times and jokes we had together in Paris. Oh and I <3 Louis Vuitton!!! Paris is such a great place!

A show on ice...

This is a shop in Brussels on the way to the show.

So Victoria and I went to Disney on ice last Friday night.(TGIF)lol . So anyways I went with her because Veronique got free tickets and she needed someone to go with. (Adrien is still skiing in Italy with a School group) I haven't been to Disney on Ice since I was 5 with my cousins. It was a childhood memory re-lived. Victoria wanted Cotton candy so I bought her some. We got a bag and the pink flower hat she has on her head came with it. All those things are so expensive at the show! I paid 9 euros for it, but it was a treat cause I haven't had cotton candy in a long time.

 There was Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald, Cars, The little mermaid, Tinker bell and friends, and Toy Story 3. Well anyways, to all who are reading this Happy Valentines Day!
PS: I will have a lot more pictures next week because I'm going to Paris for a week with YFU!

Snow at last

After walking home from school I took this picture of Victoria wearing her new fasionable hat! lol It's a bag for dog crap. No one really uses them here for the right purpose.
