A German Christmas

So, on Wednesday was the celebration of 3 months in Belgium.

I fell down the stairs and bruised my arm.

It was really all nice, very crowded and busy though. I never ended up buying any presents though. There were many little shops with decorations, jewelry, leather items, food and chocolate.
Christmas is coming...but no snow...

Well Adrien and Victoria had a Scouts weekend this weekend and were gone the the whole weekend. It was very quiet. I watch "Change-up" and "Apocalypto" which is about the mayans. We are learning about them in History class.
I went to a scouts day too, but only for Saturday afternoon.

So I found this leaf when I was walking home from school! It is huge!

This is officially my unofficial uniform.

It was a scouts weekend(WE) this weekend and I went Friday night by train to Namur with the other girls. We slept in a house with sleeping bags. It was so cold! I had fun and I got to see the city from up high when we walked up from the Citadel fort of Namur. Don't have any pictures, but it was very nice. (Couldn't take my camera because the battery was dead:) I hate hiker back packs!
I made Spice cookies today(made Pumpkin muffins last weekend). Couldn't make ginger snaps because of molasses not existing in Belgium.

The Netherlands

Well this week was vacation time! We got a week off. My host family had a trip planned to go to London, so I went to the Netherlands and stayed with some very nice people.

I don't know, but really reminds me of the movie Euro Trip...I am not offending anyone.

So the people I stayed with were really nice and took me to all these wonderful places.
I got to see were a famous Dutch painter lived, where Albert Einstein taught and stayed in Leiden, where the Prigrims planned their voyage, and the house Anne Frank lived in. A very great experience!
