My secret adventure...Shhh!!

Well on Wednesday my whole host family and I were sick with food poisoning and we had to stay home from school and work. NOT! We went to England(the sick part is the excuse)! So here are the pictures. WE had to wake at 4:30 so we could Drive to England.

Well if you know anything about Europe you should know that England is an island. SO how did we get to England? We took a train under the sea. (Like the little mermaid?)(Well it's actually the ocean I guess.) It took us 2 hours to drive to Calais (France) where we could take the train (with our car). It then took 35mins to get to Folkestone (England). Once we were there we drove along the coast to Dover, Sandwich and then Canterbury were they have a huge Cathedral. And everything was in English! Today I also found out I have a SD card or camera card slot in my laptop! Big help!
Dover port(it takes 2 hours by ferry!)

I'm now in The Netherlands, so I'll blog about it next week!

Well, this week was not the best. Peter Gloor died and its sad. Two boys from my class have died in the last two years. Its not a very good thing...I hope his family is ok and all my classmates and students from Whitemouth.
Well Sunday was my 2 month Belgium anniversary and the apple festival. Here are some photos.

By bicycling to the festival we each got a kg of free apples. They are the best ever too.
Still no camera, will buy a replacement soon...Holidays next week so NO SCHOOL! oh and Helloween too!

YFU's 60th on Saturday

Well, I don't have any pics, but there are a lot from the other students on Facebook. Saturday was YFU's 60th Anniversary party in Namur. Spent the day talking with all the exchange students about school and how everything is going for them. Everything is going great for me!!
Got to see some of Namur. After we had a fancy 3 course dinner. Now we all see where the money goes...Well, 1st course:Gross, 2nd course:Better and 3rd course:The best! Guess what? At any dinner the last course will always be the best, unless you happen to puke on it. And then its just, gross.
The Menu:
Paté Rabbit and onion confit     (I tried the rabbit part)
White Chicken meat with roasted vegetables

Chocolate Cake with Custard
On Sunday it was Leslie's Birthday! (He is the god-father of Victoria) (He also fixed my laptop)
We all went to a German Restaurant and I had some Schnitzel.
This is from Victoria's camera.

We got Pertzels too!
Hey, that's not mine and its not even beer. Its just for the picture. (Its Veronique's Apple Soda. Looks like beer though)LOL
Well I need to get a new camera, SO THATS IT...

The Rainy weather

This is at the University campus in Louvain-la-Neuve. I was shopping for shoes and we saw the students having...this...I really don't know, it was kind of weird.

I went to Walibi amusement park(not with YFU).

Went on the Vampire.(only me)

Just like Tinkertown.lol

This is the biggest ferris wheel I have ever seen.

The Werewolf. Made of Wood. The best ride. Went on it 5 times with Victoria.

Super tall.

Canadian Geese.

Dalton Terror.
I had a very fun day, even though it rained, at the amusement park. For free, since Veronique got passes for free from her work. The day before we went to scouts. I wore part of the outfit. The shorts that are really wide legged so it looks like a skirt. It poured and hailed on us. It was a cold and wet day, but I had fun. Happy Thanksgiving, Canadians!
