A taste of Canada

Veronique wrote my name on her bread with this spread from Sweden.

I made banana chocolate-chip muffins! So good!

I also made meat loaf, tastes great!

But a little oily...
This weekend was great, watched part of Gone with the Wind with the family, because they will see the place when they go to the America for Spring break. It also was a long weekend! My teachers had a meeting, so back to school tomorrow. I wish all who have exams, have fun studying!

5 months Belgium!!

This is Victoria's and mine gingerbread house that we made after Christmas. Had a hard time with the icing, but it was pretty yummy!

1000 piece puzzle

I got this puzzle for Christmas from the Van Heertum's. Pretty cool! Drove me insane to finish it, but it only took me a couple of days. They got it from London when they went in November.

Canadian waffles! What a difference, you can't find anything like them in Belgium, (not even syrup!!!!) Need to find out the secret recipe of Belgian waffles, because what they sell at restaurants in Canada!                                                               ATTENTION:THEY ARE NORMAL WAFFLES, NOTHING LIKE BELGIAN WAFFLES AND BELGIANS DON'T EAT THEIR WAFFLES FOR BREAKFAST!

Five months Belgium! Can't believe it! Time goes by so fast! Five more months and I will be back in Canada. Five more months and I have exams!(I really don't like them, that's why I'm mentioning it!)
Until next time...BYE!

Back to school.

Well this week was the first week back to school! Woohoo!(Not really!) Anyways since I finished the holidays with skiing in the mountains I brought home my cold and I have been sick all week! It wasn't a very interesting week, I helped the family put away all the Christmas decorations and that's about it. Nothing much to tell and write about this week. Now I just need to make it the next month, because we get a week of vacation time in February as well. YFU planned a trip to Paris for all the students so I wonder what we are doing???......Bye!
